GO HIGHER TO ENJOY COLORADO ICE, USA

Once again we will be staying in Ouray in the San Juan Rockies in S.W. Colorado. Ouray is a friendly old mining town set in a beautiful sheltered valley with a remarkable climate, cold enough to make ice at night and pleasant enough for climbing during the day.

The Uncompahgre Gorge, known as the Ouray Ice Park, with its guaranteed ice, easy access, in-situ belays and many routes in all grades is perfect for honing the skills of both novice and expert alike. The towns hot springs can ease our aching muscles at night. The attractive ski resort of Telluride is about an hours drive. Here we can enjoy more fine ice climbs, skiing, skidoo touring and good restaurants.

Cost: including 6 days instruction and guiding, 7 nights s/c accommodation, transport between Denver <-> Ouray and locally. (Price based on a minimum of 3 clients) 690 Not included, but arranged by us: Kitty for food. We usually make up a kitty, shop locally and cook communally. Alternatively you may prefer to eat out in local restaurants some of the time. The choice is yours!
